Spring 2017 Wedding Colors
With just a few short months until the big day, wedding planning is full speed ahead for spring 2017 brides. Blush pink ruled the 2016 wedding scene and, as we move into 2017, these shades of light, muted pinks show no sign of slowing down. For fall and winter, we saw this color paired with light golds, deep wines and dark blues. For spring, we're seeing blush and light pinks paired with a new color: refreshing shades of green that just exude springtime. For late spring weddings, especially in warmer climates, expect to see blush shades paired with bolder colors you might not expect, like fuchsias and bright blues. Here are a few of our favorite color spring palettes below:
For most of us, the first day of spring doesn't instantly bring warmer temperatures and blooming flowers. We love this color palette for early spring weddings when there may still be a chill in the air and snow on the ground. It's softer than the dark, rich hues we saw in winter 2016 weddings and begins the transition into warmer temps.
This bold look is drastically different from the soft, muted pairings we've previously seen with blush. We'll see this palette in late spring weddings into summer as well as throughout spring in warmer climates. Use fuchsia and horizon blue as accents, such as large bouquets of fuchsia flowers, horizon blue table linens or even brighter blue groomsmen suits that will really stand out next to an elegant light pink bridesmaid dress.
