DPCF Holiday Tie Campaign
Meet the Artists
Lila and Vianna are two courageous Northwell Cohen Children’s Medical Center patients who shared their creativity and inspired this year’s holiday ties and scarves.
Lila, 7, is a creative and energetic girl who enjoys soccer, lacrosse, and art. After spending eight days in the hospital while fighting an abdominal infection caused by a fully ruptured appendix, Lila contributed to this year’s holiday campaign by drawing the Christmas lights featured in the design. Her cheerful artwork adds a special touch to this year’s holiday collection.
Vianna “Vivi,” 15, was an active teen who attended school, sang in her church choir, and played clarinet in her church band. Her life changed suddenly when severe seizures led to a diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis. After months of treatment and rehabilitation, Vivi is working hard to regain her strength and independence, relearning how to sit, stand, and walk. Her journey is one of faith, perseverance, and hope. She helped make this year’s holiday design meaningful by drawing the snowman featured in the collection.
